We kicked off our season with the Highland Invitational at Sugar House Park. This is one of my favorite races of the year. 1) Because we rerun this same race at the end of the season. This gives a good benchmark for fitness growth 2) The first two miles are the exact same as the state course which gives us good experience for state. 3) It allows younger athletes to get experience on the state course before they actually run it when they are older.

We had some really good performances. I am ju...

Check out the results for time trial # 2 and Camp 5 X Mile HERE

We are only a day a way from the upcoming season. We have had a great summer of training and I am sure that you guys are really excited to put that hard work to the test against the rest of the teams in Utah.  Keep that fire and that desire that you had over the summer and let that passion grow as we keep on through the season.

Time Trial # 2

Brooklyn surprised me with how well she ran. It is always a good day as a coach when that happens. Brooke Austin also ran a huge personal record. Brooke has been so consistent since she starting and it ha...

The distance team has put in so many hard hours of work when most people are either home asleep or inside out of the cold. As a coach it makes me extremly proud and I feel blessed to be around a group of kids that know and are willing to do what it takes to get to the next level.

Probably the biggest highlight of the meet on the distance side was Tracen Warnick's 3200. Tracen ha...
